About OORAA
Project 'OORAA' is an initiative for Awareness & Conservation of Gurmukhi Lipi & Punjabi Language worldwide. OORAA APP is specially designed for kids to play and learn Gurmukhi easily. The Graphic and content is so creative, colorful & interactive that the kids will love to learn GURMUKHI. At OORAA, We are using multiple mediums like Vintage Wooden FATTI, Posters-Wallpapers & World class Punjabi WORKBOOKS for Gifting & Distribution.

PUNJABI PADHO PUNJABI LIKHO PUNJABI BOLO PUNJABI SIKHO
The Word 'Gurmukhi' literally means from the mouth of the Guru. Gurmukhi has some similarities to the older Indian Scripts of the times, but its 35 characters and vowel modifiers were standardized by Guru Angad Dev ji. He chose to make this new script the standard for the Sikhs & spent his lifetime teaching Gurmukhi script to the common people of Punjab. Gurmukhi is not only used by Sikhs but by Hindus as well as Muslims living in Punjab to represent their common spoken language, Punjabi.
Today our 'Maa-Boli' Punjabi is dying. Todays Generation is not aware how precious this language is. Sikhs are expected to make an effort at learning Gurmukhi script and teaching it to their children in order to read Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in its original written form.
We are trying our best to nurture the coming generation by reviving their roots with Maa Boli & also request all communities worldwide to come forward and support this project to save and conserve our golden heritage.
